11 lakh fund for Vighnaharta Devasthan Road – Dr Nilam Gorhe, Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Council
Pune: Deputy Speaker of Maharashtra Legislative Council Dr Neelmathai Gorhe today paid obeisance to Vighnaharta Ganesha at Shri Kshetra Ojhar (Tal. Junnar). At this time, he announced to give Rs. 11 lakhs from his own MLA’s fund for the work of the road from the entrance to the temple.
Dr Gorhe was felicitated on behalf of Devasthan. MLA Atul Benke, former MLA Sharad Sonawane, Chairman of Shri Vighnahar Ganpati Devasthan Trust Ganesh Kavade, Junnar Panchayat Samiti Chairman Vishal Tambe, Tehsildar Ravindra Sabnis, Group Development Officer Sharad Chandra Mali were present on the occasion.
Dr Gorhe said that Ashtavinayak Tourism Development Plan has been prepared through the tourism department and the development work is being accelerated in terms of tourism. Efforts will be made to concretize the 800-meter road from the Ojhar entrance to the temple throughout the year.
Saying that we will try to fulfil the sanctioned funds under Ashtavinayak Development Project as soon as possible; The MLA announced to provide Rs. 11 lakhs from the fund for the road work from the entrance to the temple. She also said that necessary facilities should be provided to the devotees visiting the temple.
At this time Sarpanch of Ojhar village Mathura Kavade, Ojhar no. 2 Sarpanch Taramati Kardak, Devasthan Treasurer Kailas Ghegade, Trustee b. V. Mande, Anandrao Mande, Mangesh Mande, Ganpat Kavade, Vijay Ghegade along with Gram Panchayat members, villagers were present.
