A covid vaccination campaign has been launched in Magarpatta City and Amennora Township. It was inaugurated by Satish Magar, Managing Director, Magarpatta City.
MLA Chetan Tupe, Managing Director of City Corporation Aniruddha Deshpande, Corporator Hemalatha Magar, Former Deputy Mayor Nilesh Magar, Mangesh Tupe, Medical Officer Snehal Kale, Dr. Shantanu Jagdale, Pradeep Magar, Dr. Niranjan Revadkar were present.
The vaccination will continue from morning 9 to evening 5 at the administrative office of Magarpatta City.
The city’s positivity rate came down.
The number of patients has been increasing rapidly due to the second wave of corona in Pune city. Pimpri-Chinchwad and district swab test have been increased. During this period, the positivity rate in the city increased up tp 25.58% . Now the positivity rate has come down to 23.17% and the administration is working to reduce it further. From the second week of February, the number of patients in the city started increasing and checks were increased. The administration has released figures for the last three weeks showing that the positivity rate in the city has come down. If the rate goes down further, the number of patients will go down further.
Need of Vaccination Center at Phursungi Power House Area.
Due to heavy congestion at the vaccinaion center at Fursungi village, Pune Municipal Corporation should immediately start vaccination center at Power House, Santosh Harpale, Vice President, BJP Haveli, has demanded that, the Pune Municipal Corporation should immediately start a vaccination center at Power House, . A statement in this regard was given to Mayor Murlidhar Mohol, Chairman of the Standing Committee Hemant Rasne and Leader of the House Ganesh Bidkar. Rahul Dhamal, Secretary of Swayambhu Foundation, Mahendra Harpale etc. were present on this occasion.
Start Covid Center at Wadki.
The number of corona patients is increasing in Wadki and many are losing their lives due to lack of beds. Therefore, former Deputy Sarpanch Sachin Modak and Shiv Sena Haveli taluka chief Sandeep Modak have demanded that the district administration should immediately start a Covid Center in Wadki. Sarpanch Arun Gaikwad on behalf of Wadki Gram Panchayat has given a statement to MLA Sanjay Jagtap of Purandar Haveli in this regard. Today, there are more than 300 active patients in Wadki and this corona epidemic has claimed the lives of about 22 people in Wadki. Patients and their relatives are suffering as there is no Covid Center nearby. The Gram Panchayat will provide space for the Covid Center but the administration has demanded that the Covid Center be started immediately.
