9628 Kg stock of Jaggery and Sugar seized, action taken by Food and Drug Administration.
Pune: On suspicion of adulteration in the action taken by the Food and Drug Administration on the cattle of M / s Bormalnath jaggery industry at Kolwadi in Haveli taluka; 9670 kg of jaggery worth Rs. 98 thousand 240 and 6558 kg of sugar worth Rs. 2 lakh 29 thousand 530 were seized.
Under the guidance of the Joint Commissioner of Pune Division, S.S. Desai, the Food Safety Officer in the Pune office, A.D. Jhanjurne raided the herd based on confidential information.
