Indian universities achieve top-200 positions in QS World University Rankings 2022
IISc Bengaluru ranked 1st in the World for research.
India is taking a leap in the field of Education & Research and is emerging as a Vishwaguru – Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’.
Three Indian Universities have achieved top-200 positions in QS World University Rankings 2022. IISc Bengaluru ranked number 1 in the world for research. QS Quacquarelli Symonds, global higher education analysts has released the 18th edition of the world’s International University rankings on 9th June. Today, I’m extremely proud to share that India is taking a leap in the field of Education & Research and is emerging as a VISHWAGURU.
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has congratulated IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi and IISc Bengaluru for top-200 positions in QS World University Rankings 2022.
In a Tweet, The Prime Minister said: “Congratulations to @iiscbangalore, @iitbombay and @iitdelhi. Efforts are underway to ensure more universities and institutions of India scale global excellence and support intellectual prowess among the youth.
Union Education Minister Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ congratulated IIT Bombay for securing the 177th position, IIT Delhi for securing the 185th rank and IISc Bengaluru for securing 186th position in universities rankings. Shri Pokhriyal said that India is taking a leap in the field of Education & Research and is emerging as a Vishwaguru. We are equally proud to have a Guru like Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi who has constantly been thinking about the welfare of students, faculty staff and all other stakeholders associated with the Indian Education sector, he added.
The Minister further said that initiatives such as National Education Policy – 2020 and Institute of Eminence are instrumental in ranking our colleges and institutes globally. This can be felt by looking at the university rankings declared by QS & Times Group, he added.

आयआयएससी बेंगळुरू संशोधनासाठी जगात पहिल्या स्थानावर .

क्यूएस वर्ल्ड युनिव्हर्सिटी रँकिंग २०२२ मध्ये तीन भारतीय विद्यापीठांनी २००२ मध्ये अव्वल -२०० स्थान मिळवले आहे. आयआयएससी बेंगळुरू संशोधनासाठी जगातील पहिल्या क्रमांकावर आहेत. जागतिक उच्च शिक्षण विश्लेषक क्यूएस क्वाक्वेरेली सायमंड्सने 9 जून रोजी जगातील आंतरराष्ट्रीय विद्यापीठाच्या रँकिंगची 18 वी आवृत्ती प्रकाशित केली.
आज, शिक्षण आणि संशोधन क्षेत्रात भारत झेप घेत आहे आणि एक विश्‍वगुरू म्हणून उदयास येत आहे हे सांगताना मला अत्यंत अभिमान वाटतो, असे केंद्रीय शिक्षणमंत्री श्री रमेश पोखरियाल ‘निशंक’ म्हणाले. केंद्रीय शिक्षणमंत्री श्री रमेश पोखरियाल ‘निशंक’ यांनी आयआयटी बॉम्बेचे १७७ व्या स्थानासाठी, आयआयटी दिल्लीने १८५वे स्थान मिळविल्याबद्दल आणि आयआयएससी बेंगलुरू यांना विद्यापीठांच्या क्रमवारीत १८६ वा क्रमांक मिळवून दिल्याबद्दल अभिनंदन केले.
पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी आयआयटी बॉम्बे, आयआयटी दिल्ली आणि आयआयएससी बेंगलुरूचे क्यूएस वर्ल्ड युनिव्हर्सिटी रँकिंग २०२२ मध्ये अव्वल २०० स्थान मिळविल्याबद्दल त्यांचे अभिनंदन केले आहे.
एका ट्विटमध्ये पंतप्रधान म्हणालेः “आय आय एस सी बंगलोर, @ आय आय टी मुंबई आणि आय आय टी दिल्ली यांचे अभिनंदन. भारतातील अधिक विद्यापीठे आणि संस्था जागतिक स्तरावर उत्कृष्टता येतील आणि तरूणांमध्ये बौद्धिक पराक्रमाचे समर्थन करण्यासाठी प्रयत्न सुरू आहेत.
श्री पोखरियाल म्हणाले की भारत शिक्षण व संशोधन क्षेत्रात प्रगती साधत आहे आणि विश्वगुरु म्हणून उदयास येत आहे. पंतप्रधान श्री नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्यासारख्या गुरूचा असण्याचा आम्हालाही तितकाच अभिमान आहे. जो विद्यार्थी, शिक्षक वर्ग आणि भारतीय शिक्षण क्षेत्राशी संबंधित इतर सर्व भागधारकांच्या कल्याणासाठी सतत विचार करीत आहे, असेही ते म्हणाले.
मंत्री पुढे म्हणाले की, राष्ट्रीय महाविद्यालयीन धोरण – २०२० आणि इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ एमिनेन्स यासारख्या उपक्रम आमच्या महाविद्यालये आणि संस्थांना जागतिक स्तरावर क्रमवारी लावण्यात मोलाची भूमिका बजावतात. क्यूएस अँड टाईम्स ग्रुपने जाहीर केलेल्या विद्यापीठाच्या क्रमवारी पाहिल्यास हे जाणवते, असेही ते म्हणाले.
