Relief for patients with Mucormycosis,7000 amphotericin b injection available for Pune division through Union Minister Nitin Gadkari’s initiative.

7,000 amphotericin B injections available for Pune division through Union Minister Nitin Gadkari’s initiative the same were handed over to District Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh. Mucormycosis patients have been found in the Pune district including the state for the last few weeks. Appropriate treatment is being given to them in various places as per the rules laid down by the government. But there was a shortage of amphotericin B injections used to treat myocardial infarction. With the initiative of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Genetic Life Sciences Pvt. Wardha provided 5,000 amphotericin B injections for Maharashtra. For the Pune division, the company today handed over five thousand amphotericin B injections to District Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh, Deputy Director of Health Dr Sanjog Kadam, Assistant Director Dr Sanjay Deshmukh.

Today at the Collector’s Office, Dr Mahendra Kshirsagar, Director Generic Life Sciences Pvt. Wardha, handed over five thousand amphotericin B injections to the collector Rajesh Deshmukh. He also said that another 2,000 amphotericin B injections would be given to the Pune division next week. Deshmukh said the injection will be a relief for patients with mucormycosis.

केंद्रिय मंत्री नितीन गडकरी यांच्या पुढाकारातून पुणे विभागासाठी 7 हजार ॲम्फोटेरेसिन बी इंजेक्शन उपलब्ध झालेली इंजेक्शन जिल्हाधिकारी डॉ.राजेश देशमुख यांच्याकडे सुपूर्द केले. राज्यासह पुणे जिल्हयात मागील काही आठवड्यापासून म्युकरमायकोसीसचे रुग्ण आढळून येत आहेत.यांच्यावर योग्य ते उपचार विविध ठिकाणी शासनाने ठरवून दिलेल्या नियमाप्रमाणे सुरु आहेत. पण म्युकरमायकोसीसच्या उपचारासाठी वापरण्यात येणा-या ॲम्फोटेरेसिन बी इंजेक्शनची कमतरता भासत होती.

 केंद्रिय मंत्री नितीन गडकरी यांच्या पुढाकाराने  जेनेटीक लाईफ सायन्सेस प्रा.ली. वर्धा या कंपनीने 5 हजार ॲम्फोटेरेसिन बी इंजेक्शन महाराष्ट्रासाठी उपलब्ध करून  दिले. पुणे विभागासाठी कंपनीने आज पाच हजार ॲम्फोटेरेसिन बी इंजेक्शन जिल्हाधिकारी डॉ. राजेश देशमुख, आरोग्य विभागाचे उपसंचालक डॉ. संजोग कदम, सहायक संचालक डॉ. संजय देशमुख यांच्याकडे सुपूर्त करण्यात आले.

जिल्हाधिकारी कार्यालयात आज जेनेरिक लाईफ सायन्सेस प्रा.ली. वर्धा या कंपनीचे संचालक डॉ. महेंद्र क्षिरसागर यांनी पाच हजार ॲम्फोटेरेसिन बी इंजेक्शन सुपूर्त केले. येत्या आठवडयात पुणे विभागसाठी आणखी दोन हजार ॲम्फोटेरेसिन बी इंजेक्शन देण्यात येणार असल्याचेही त्यांनी सांगितले. म्युकरमायकोसीसच्या रुग्णांसाठी हे इंजेक्शन दिलासा देणारे ठरेल असे जिल्हाधिकारी डॉ. देशमुख यांनी सांगितले
