Abhijat Marathi’ should reach out to the general public – Marathi Language Minister Subhash Desai.

The state government is making efforts to give Marathi the status of an elite language. Apart from this, efforts should be made to convey the information about how the Marathi language is classical in its original form to the general public through books or exhibitions, suggested Marathi Language Minister Subhash Desai. 

Maharashtra State Board of Literature and Culture President Dr Sadanand More and Vishwakosh Nirmiti Mandal President Dr Shridhar Dixit paid a courtesy call on Mr Desai at the Ministry and discussed various issues. 

Marathi people have a great curiosity about classic Marathi. But not everyone knows exactly what this classic Marathi is like. It should be available to the general public through various means. The chain of evolution from Maharashtri Prakrit to Marathi should be known to all. Mr Desai suggested that the original language of the Marathi language should be communicated to the masses through various mediums. Mr Desai also said that the words in the dialect should be used for the new generation, for which it should be used in writing, screenplay and series. 

At this time Mr Dixit informed about the next steps of the encyclopedia board and the upcoming activities. He said the work of the encyclopedia would be extended to rural areas. Special emphasis will be placed on the democratization of knowledge. The information in the encyclopedia will be made available through new technology. Information will be provided to more and more people through traditional methods and modern means. Shri. Mr Dixit also clarified that he intends to update the volume, check the details, correct the objectionable matters. President Dr. More thanked the State Government for his selection.

‘अभिजात मराठी’ सर्वसामान्यांपर्यंत पोहोचावी – मराठी भाषामंत्री सुभाष देसाई. 

मराठी भाषेला अभिजात भाषेचा दर्जा देण्यासाठी राज्य शासन प्रयत्न करतच आहे. याखेरीज मराठी भाषा मूळ स्वरुपात अभिजात कशी आहे, याची माहिती ग्रंथ किंवा प्रदर्शनाद्वारे सर्वसामान्य नागरिकांपर्यंत पोहोचविण्यासाठी प्रयत्न केले जावेत, अशी सूचना मराठी भाषा मंत्री सुभाष देसाई यांनी केली. 

महाराष्ट्र राज्य साहित्य आणि संस्कृती मंडळाचे अध्यक्ष डॉ.सदानंद मोरे तसेच विश्वकोष निर्मिती मंडळाचे अध्यक्ष डॉ. श्रीधर दीक्षित यांनी श्री.देसाई यांची मंत्रालयात सदिच्छा भेट घेऊन विविध विषयांवर चर्चा केली.  

मराठी माणसांना अभिजात मराठीबद्दल प्रचंड उत्सुकता आहे. परंतु ही अभिजात मराठी नेमकी कशी आहे, याची माहिती सर्वसामान्यांना मिळत नाही. ती विविध माध्यमांतून सर्वसामान्यांना उपलब्ध झाली पाहिजे. महाराष्ट्री प्राकृत ते मराठी अशा उत्क्रांती साखळीची सर्वांना ओळख झाली पाहिजे. विविध माध्यमांद्वारे मराठी भाषेचे मूळ जनतेपर्यंत पोहोचविले पाहिजे अशी सूचना श्री.देसाई यांनी केली .बोली भाषेतील शब्द नव्या पिढीसाठी रुढ झाले पाहिजेत, यासाठी त्याचा वापर लेखन, पटकथा तसेच मालिकांमध्ये झाला पाहिजे, असेही श्री.देसाई म्हणाले. 

यावेळी श्री.दीक्षित यांनी विश्वकोष मंडळाची पुढील वाटचाल आणि आगामी उपक्रमांची माहिती दिली. ते म्हणाले, विश्वकोषाचे काम ग्रामीण भागापर्यंत पोहचविले जाईल. ज्ञानाचे लोकशाहीकरण करण्यावर विशेष भर दिला जाईल. विश्वकोषातील माहिती नवीन तंत्रज्ञानाद्वारे उपलब्ध करून दिली जाईल. पारंपरिक पद्धत आणि आधुनिक माध्यमांद्वारे अधिकाधिक लोकांपर्यंत माहिती पुरविण्यात येईल. येत्या काळात २१ कोषांप्रमाणे कुमारकोष काढण्याचा मानस असल्याचे श्री.दीक्षित यांनी स्पष्ट केले. खंड अद्ययावतीकरण, तपशील तपासणे, आक्षेपार्ह बाबींमध्ये दुरूस्ती करण्याचा मानस असल्याचेही श्री.दीक्षित यांनी स्पष्ट केले. अध्यक्ष डॉ.मोरे यांनी त्यांच्या निवडीबद्दल राज्य शासनाचे आभार मानले.
