Teams Deputed to Kerala, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Manipur in view of the increased number of COVID-19 cases. 

Centre rushes teams to 6 States for COVID-19 control and containment measures.

The Union Government has been leading the fight against the global pandemic with a ‘Whole of Government’ and ‘Whole of Society’ approach. As an ongoing effort to strengthen the efforts of various State/UT Governments for COVID management, the Central Government has been deputing Central teams from time to time to visit various States/UTs. These teams interact with the State/UT authorities and get a first-hand understanding of the challenges and issues being faced by them so as to strengthen their ongoing activities and remove bottlenecks if any.

The two-member high-level team in these states consists of a clinician and a public health expert. The teams will visit the States immediately and monitor the overall implementation of COVID-19 management, especially in testing, including surveillance and containment operations; COVID Appropriate Behaviour and its enforcement; availability of hospital beds, sufficient logistics including ambulances, ventilators, medical oxygen etc., and COVID-19 Vaccination progress. The teams will monitor the situation and also suggest remedial actions.

The Central teams will assess the situation and suggest remedial actions on public health activities to the respective state governments. Copy of the report will also be provided to the Union Health Ministry.   

कोविड-19 नियंत्रण आणि प्रतिबंधात्मक उपायांसाठी 6 राज्यात केंद्र सरकारची पथके.

जागतिक महामारीशी लढा देण्यासाठी, सर्व यंत्रणांशी समन्वय ठेवणारा  ‘सर्व समावेशक  सरकार’ आणि ‘संपूर्ण समाज’ हा दृष्टीकोनघेऊन केंद्र सरकार अग्रेसर राहून कार्यरत आहे.  कोविड व्यवस्थापनासाठी राज्ये आणि केंद्रशासित प्रदेशांच्या प्रयत्नांना बळकटी देण्यासाठीच्या प्रयत्नांचा भाग म्हणून केंद्र सरकार वेळोवेळी,विविध राज्ये आणि केंद्र शासित प्रदेशांना भेट देण्यासाठी केंद्रीय पथके पाठवत असते. ही पथके राज्ये आणि केंद्रशासित प्रदेशांच्या संबंधित अधिकाऱ्यांशी संवाद साधून तिथली आव्हाने आणि  समस्या जाणून घेतात. यामुळे जर काही अडथळे असतील तर ते दूर करून कोरोना प्रतिबंधासाठीचे  कार्य अधिक बळकट करण्यासाठी सहाय्य होते.   

केंद्र सरकारने आज  केरळ, अरुणाचल प्रदेश, त्रिपुरा, ओदिशा, छत्तीसगड आणि मणिपूर या राज्यात कोविड-19 रुग्णांची वाढती संख्या लक्षात घेऊन पथके नियुक्त केली आहेत. 

कोविड व्यवस्थापनातल्या प्रयत्नात आणि महामारीचा  प्रभावीपणे सामना करण्यासाठी ही पथके या राज्यांना सहाय्य करणार आहेत.

दोन सदस्यीय या उच्च स्तरीय पथकामध्ये सार्वजनिक आरोग्य तज्ञाचाही समावेश आहे. ही पथके राज्यांना तातडीने भेट देऊन कोविड-19  व्यवस्थापन, चाचण्या, प्रतिबंधात्मक कार्य आणि देखरेख, कोविडला प्रतिबंध करणारे वर्तन आणि त्याची अंमलबजावणी, रुग्णालयातल्या खाटांची उपलब्धता, रुग्णवाहिका, व्हेंटीलेटर्स, वैद्यकीय ऑक्सिजन, लसीकरणाबाबत प्रगती यांचा आढावा आणि देखरेख ठेवेल आणि उपचारात्मक सूचनाही करेल. 

अहवालाची प्रत केंद्रीय आरोग्य मंत्रालयालाही देण्यात येणार आहे.
