Electric vehicles will be promoted and given priority – Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.
Deputy Chief Minister and District Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar informed that the Government of Maharashtra will give priority to electric vehicles to prevent the increasing pollution and possible dangers in the state.
Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar inaugurated the distribution service of Fitwell Mobility Pvt. Ltd. for the states of Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Goa at Pimpri-Chinchwad. He was speaking on the occasion. Rajesh Patil, Commissioner, Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, Fitwell Mobility Pvt. Ltd.’s Ravindra Kangralkar, Chaitanya Shirole, A. Shashank, Mr. Kedar, Jagdish Kadam, and employees of the company were present.
Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said, recognizing the steps of time; Looking to the future, Fitwell Mobility Pvt. Ltd. has started distribution service of electric three-wheelers. For the last few years, Pimpri-Chinchwad has been known as the MIDC Auto Hub. Now Pimpri-Chinchwad will get a new identity as a sales hub for electric vehicles. Electric three-wheelers sold through Fitwell Mobility will be free from all these types of pollution. A separate space will be created in the passenger and freight sectors. Considering the limitations of petrol, diesel, gas, electric motor is a good, reasonable, clean and pollution-free, beneficial option for passengers and freight.
In the future, the government has taken the role of promoting and giving priority to electric vehicles. The government has announced a new electric vehicle policy in view of the growing pollution in the state and the potential dangers it poses. According to the policy, the purchase of electric vehicles will be encouraged in the state. Government and private charging facilities will be set up in major cities of the state to give priority to the purchase of electric vehicles. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said that electric vehicles are an environmentally friendly alternative to the rising rates of petrol, diesel, pollution, and global warming.
On the occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar congratulated Fitwell Mobility Company, Man-United HR & Marketing Company, Chaitanya Sales Services Company, and those associated with the manufacturing, sales, maintenance, and repair of electric vehicles.
