In the fight against corona, more than one crore people in Maharashtra have been given full protection by giving both doses of vaccine, and Maharashtra today set a record of giving both doses of vaccine to more than one crore people across the country.
Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Health Minister Rajesh Tope have lauded the efforts made by the health department to protect more than one crore people from corona by giving both doses.
As many as 54 lakh people have been vaccinated in the state till 4 pm today and the number of people who have been given both doses has reached one crore 64 thousand 308. A new record in vaccination is being set in the name of Maharashtra. So far, the first dose of vaccine has been given to 3 crore 16 lakh 9 thousand 227 citizens of the state, while the number of citizens who have taken both doses has crossed the one crore mark due to vaccination which started today, said Dr. Pradeep Vyas, Additional Chief Secretary, Health Department.
