Information on various 301 part-time and full-time courses of the Maharashtra State Skill Development Board, which is a boon for students who have dropped out of school along with regular students, will now be available on the new website. The new website www.msbsd.edu.in as well as the logo of the Board was recently unveiled by the Minister of State for Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship Nawab Malik.
Minister Shri. Malik said the former name of the board was Maharashtra State Vocational Education Examination Board and the old website was working. Now the name of the board has been changed and a newly updated website has been created. Established under the concept of Business Education, the Board conducts business-oriented certificate courses for employment and self-employment. Due to the growth in industrialization, changing technology, social and economic changes, etc., the Board’s curriculum has been improved and enhanced over time.

Minister Shri. Malik said the board runs short-term business courses (add-on courses) for regular students as well as for students who have dropped out of school, as well as for students pursuing specialized education. Currently, 301 courses are implemented under the Board. These courses are being implemented in the district, taluka level as well as rural areas in 1 thousand 269 institutes approved by the Board. Especially in rural areas, poor students complete the training by getting admission in the recognized institutes of the board.
