Some relief from restrictions in the remaining 22 districts

Chief Minister’s appeal to the citizens to follow the health rules very strictly

Third level restrictions have been maintained under Break the Chain in 11 districts of the state with a high incidence of covid infection. Thus, except for these 14 districts, the rest of the districts in the state have been given some leeway in restrictions. Today, the Department of Public Health has issued break-the-chain orders under the Infectious Diseases Act and the Disaster Management Act. It will take effect from tomorrow

Though restrictions have been relaxed in some districts, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has appealed to the people to follow the health norms and continue to wear masks in any situation.

The 11 districts in which the third level restrictions will be applicable are as follows: Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara, Pune, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Solapur, Ahmednagar, Beed, Raigad, Palghar. In view of the high positivity rate in Sindhudurg, Satara, Ahmednagar and the daily increasing number of patients, the local disaster management administration in these districts will decide on the extent of strict restrictions.

Disaster Management Authority will decide on restrictions in 3 districts namely Mumbai, Mumbai Suburbs and Thane.

Restrictions in the rest of the district will be relaxed as follows

Shops and malls that do not sell all kinds of essentials, as well as essentials, will be open from Monday to Friday from 8 pm and Saturday from 3 pm. All shops and malls will be closed on Sunday except for necessities.

All public parks, grounds are open for exercise, walking, running, cycling etc.

All government and private offices will continue at full capacity. Suggestions for division of office hours to avoid travel congestion

Offices that can be continued on a work-from-home basis.

All kinds of agricultural work, construction, transportation of goods, the industry will continue at full capacity.

Gym, gymnasium, yoga centre, beauty parlour, hairdresser do not want to use air conditioning but can operate at 50% capacity from Monday to Friday at 8 pm. It will be closed till 3 pm on Saturday and completely on Sunday.

Cinemas, theatres, as well as multiplexes in malls will remain closed. There is no discount.

Places of worship for all religions in the state will remain closed.

The Department of School Education and Higher Education will decide on schools and colleges.

All restaurants will be open till 4 pm with a 50 per cent seating capacity. But you have to follow the rules of health. Take away or parcel service can be continued as of now.

It is not possible to go out between 9 pm and 5 am without urgent reasons.

Restrictions on birthday ceremonies, political, social, cultural ceremonies, elections, campaigns, processions, demonstrations have been maintained to prevent the spread of infection due to crowds.

All citizens are required to abide by the Corona Prevention Rules, such as the use of masks and safe distances. Violation of these rules will result in action being taken in accordance with the provisions of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, the Infectious Diseases Act, and the Indian Penal Code.
