Of tribal brothers in the Gadchiroli district; Project Mumbai has taken the initiative to participate in Corona Prevention Vaccination. Efforts will be made by the organization to make the vaccination campaign a success by educating the citizens along with awareness. For this, a memorandum of understanding was signed between District Collector Gadchiroli and Project Mumbai Sanstha in the presence of Health Minister Rajesh Tope.
Project Mumbai Chief Executive Officer Shishir Joshi, Gadchiroli District Collector Deepak Singh, Trustee of Search Institute Dr Anand Bang, Dr Harsha Vashisht etc. were present on the occasion.
Tribal brothers in the Gadchiroli district are reluctant to take the corona vaccine. The vaccination campaign in this area is not getting adequate response due to misconceptions about vaccination. Therefore, Project Mumbai will try to create awareness in this area and participate in vaccination through counselling. For this, the Gadchiroli district administration will provide them with the necessary help. The Arogya Swarajya Yojana was launched at this time to control corona and enable healthy villages.
Health Minister Mr Tope said that vaccination is an important weapon for corona prevention and it takes time for large scale vaccination to develop group immunity. Globally, even in countries with high vaccination rates, the incidence of tertiary waves is low. Therefore, vaccination is effective and while counselling the tribal brothers in Gadchiroli, they should be involved in the vaccination campaign, he said.
