Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Special Grant Scheme for Scheduled Caste students who get more than 90% marks
In the year 2020-21, in the academic year in the state of Maharashtra, the students belonging to the Scheduled Castes who have obtained more than 90 per cent marks in the Class 10th examination to pre-prepare for higher vocational education; An amount of Rs. 1 lakh per annum for two years will be given to the concerned students in the form of incentive scholarships, the District Social Welfare Officer of the Zilla Parishad has informed in a press release.
2021-22 Scheme Implementation Procedures The budding students who have passed Class X in the Scheduled Caste category do not have to bear the high cost of vocational courses due to financial constraints, resulting in incomplete education and a decline in the number of students pursuing higher education. Scheme Implementation Procedures Applications are invited in the prescribed format from the parents of the meritorious students/students who have secured more than 90% marks in the 10th class in the Scheduled Caste category eligible for the scheme. Application form for the scheme and scheme information in PDF format on the Barty office website; Also application form and information about the scheme is available in the office of Assistant Commissioner Social Welfare and District Social Welfare Officer, Zilla Parishad. The application form should be filled by the applicant student/parent by downloading the application form from the Barti website and sending the application to the Barti head office by registered post at the following address. (Office Address – Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Research and Training Institute, Barti, 28, Ranicha Bagh, Pune-411001) It is mandatory to submit the self-declaration to be given by the parents and the letter of recommendation to be given by the headmaster along with the application. The self-declaration should be submitted by the student’s father on a simple piece of paper. If the father is not alive, the mother should submit. If the parents are not present, the parents of the student should submit. Necessary documents/proofs along with the application e.g. Attested photocopies of documents like Marks, School Leaving Certificate, Resident Certificate, Caste Certificate, Certificate of Income etc. should be attested and attached.
Applications received under the scheme will be scrutinized at the Barti office level. Eligible students will be selected for the scheme and the benefit of the scheme will be given as follows. After the selection of eligible students for the scheme, the first instalment amounting to Rs. 50,000 / – will be credited to the bank account of the concerned students through RTGS.
