Appeal to young men and women in rural areas to register for training in agriculture and agribusiness.
The project director of Atma has appealed to the rural youth in Pune district to register immediately by contacting the Taluka Technology Manager / Assistant Technology Manager at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Baramati, Narayangaon, Taluka Agriculture Officer’s Office in the taluka.
Under the National Skills Development and Entrepreneurship Policy-2015, guidelines have been received from the Central Government for implementing this program of imparting skills-based training to rural youth. The program is being implemented to impart training to the youth/women in rural areas on agriculture and agri-business as per the local needs as well as to provide employment opportunities in the rural areas.
Duration of Training 7 days (6 + 1 Travel for Field Visits), Training Class Capacity 15 Trainees per Class, (As per the instructions of Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, under Special Component Scheme, Scheduled Castes-4, Scheduled Tribes-3 and the rest The youth will be selected on the basis of general factor-8)
Under the year 2021-22, two training programs have been approved for the Pune district as per the above criteria and a nodal training institute has been selected.
