India beat England by a comprehensive margin of 157 runs at the Kensington Oval, London on Monday. India beat England in the fourth Test to go 2-1 up in this five-match series. Umesh Yadav takes the final wicket in form of James Anderson. Chasing an improbable target of 368, England is all out for 210 in their second innings. Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja wreaked havoc in the second session and that completely changed the complexion of the game. England lost 6 wickets in the post-lunch session and India have completed the formalities now. Umesh (3/60) ends as the highest wicket-taker for India in the fourth innings.

The first session ended with England’s score reaching 131-2. They are still 237 runs behind and Root and Hameed will need to rebuild after Malan was run-out before lunch. The first hour of the day turned out to be a real fight. Rory Burns and Haseeb Hameed, despite the Indian bowlers bowling at the right place, continued to score.

Earlier Rory Burns was removed by Shardul Thakur in his first over of the day before Dawid Malan was run out by his companion Haseeb Hameed. At Lunch, England were 131/2, needing 237 more runs to win.

Chasing a high target of 368 in the fourth Test of the five-match series against India. Joe Root, who was the lone guard for the hosts, was dismissed by Shardul Thakur in the post-lunch session. India gave away 62 runs in the second session but most importantly picked up six wickets.

The second session was the match-defining one as India picked 6 England wickets for just 62 runs in 25.1 overs.

England reached 193/8 at Tea and this was the game-changing session for the visitors. Shardul Thakur removed Root and Umesh Yadav dismissed Woakes towards the end of the session as the visitors picked 6/62 in 25.1 overs.
