Under Swachh Bharat Mission Rural Phase 2, 100 days sustainability and Sujalam campaign started in the district.
Zilla Parishad President Nirmala Pansare informed that 100 days sustainability and Sujalam Abhiyan has been started in the district under Swachh Bharat Mission Rural Phase II.
On the occasion of the 75th Independence Day of India, various activities have been suggested in all the villages of the district. This includes achieving the effects of waste-free sustainability more effectively at the community level through public participation at the local village level and managing wastewater through the construction of septic tanks in rural areas. During this campaign 40 thousand (Ambegaon 3 thousand, Baramati 4 thousand, Bhor 2 thousand 500, Daund, 3 thousand 500, Haveli 4 thousand, Indapur 4 thousand, Junnar 4 thousand, Khed 4 thousand, Maval 2 thousand 500) for wastewater management in Pune district from the state level. , Mulshi 1 thousand 700, Purandar 2 thousand 500, Shirur 3 thousand 500 and Velha 800).
Nirmala Pansare, President of Pune Zilla Parishad and Ayush Prasad, Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad have also appealed to all the villages to participate in this campaign and construct a drainage ditch for wastewater management in their villages.
