Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari’s visit to Vedpathshala.
Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari visited Vedacharya Shri Ghaisas Guruji Vedpathshala at Kothrud. While appreciating the work of Vedpathshala, the Governor got information about various activities run through Vedpathshala.
After inspecting the visitor’s room set up at Ved Bhavan in the Kothrud area, the Governor interacted with the chief representative present. Great work is being done for the propagation and dissemination of Vedas through Vedashala. People from abroad come to India to learn the Vedas. The knowledge of the Vedas has been passed down from one person to another for thousands of years. Mr Koshyari said that the work being done by Ghaisas Guruji through Veda school to carry forward this flow of knowledge is commendable.
Welcoming the Governor, Ghaisas Guruji, Head of Vedpathshala, informed about the services run by the Ashram as well as various activities.
On this occasion, the cheque given by Vasant Thakar for the observatory was handed over to Ghaisas Guruji by Governor Koshyari.
Mukundrao Chitale, Trustee of Vedashala, Dattatraya Sapre and other prominent representatives were present on the occasion.
