Extension of deadline till October 2 for online application of loom components for getting electricity tariff concession.
Under the Maharashtra State Textile Industry Policy 2018-23, an electricity tariff concession has been implemented for the textile industry units in the state.
Textile Commissioner Sheetal Teli-Ugale has appealed to all concerned spinning mills to apply online by October 2 and those below 27 horsepower to apply offline.
Under the state’s textile policy 2018-23, electricity tariff concession has been applied to the textile industry. The last date for online registration on the Commissionerate’s website https://www.dirtexmah.gov.in was given till February 28, 2021, after which the deadline was given till May 31, 2021, in accordance with the statement submitted by the people’s representatives Was extended. However, even during this period, most of the looms did not appear to be registered
All types of loom components are allowed to submit online or offline registration as per Government Resolution dated 25th February 2021. The last date for registration of this application is one month i.e. 2nd October 2021 as per the Government letter dated 2nd September 2021. If the concerned looms have not applied within this period, their power concessions should be stopped till they register, hence all the looms should register online or offline (under 27 hp) on the Commissionerate’s website within the prescribed time. It is necessary, said Textile Commissioner Sheetal Teli-Ugale.
