Corona negative certificate is required for travel.

Since the issuance of the curfew, the facility of issuing e-pass for urgent reasons has been introduced in all District and Police Commissionerates from Friday. While issuing this e-pass, a Covid-19 negative certificate has been made mandatory for all. If this certificate is not attached then the demand for an e-pass is being rejected. Even if a very special person has died and wants to go for it, such people are given an e-pass even if they do not have a certificate. A total of 11,238 e-passes were demanded till Sunday evening. Out of which 3332 were approved, 388 applications were expired and 250 passes are pending. So far 5,097 applications have been rejected.

Citizens coming for essential services, facilities, and goods will have to show their official identity card at the blockade checkpoint while traveling in the city. No e-pass is required.

 For the wedding ceremony, the bride and groom will be given an e-pass to their parents, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, cousins, etc., but it is necessary to attach a wedding card.

However, caution and adherence to rules are essential.

While the medicines, oxygen, and injections are having shortages in the country apart from the state.  The city of Pune and the district is seeing a positive picture of patient’s stability. If this relief continues,  the health department and expert doctors are appealing to the citizens to strictly follow the rules and protect themselves and others from infection.

  The second wave of corona outbreak since February has hit Pune city and the district hard. Especially in the month of March, the number of patients broke all the highs of the previous year. However, the number of active patients was 46,000 less than the government’s estimate. Since the third week of April, the picture seems to be changing. Between April 15 and 20, the daily number of patients in the city stood at 5000. After that, in the last two three days, this number seems to have come down below five thousand. The number of Corona tests performed daily and the number of infected patients found in than seems to have brought the rate of infection under control. Although the picture is positive at the moment, the epidemic has not abated. Therefore, the health system is appealing to the citizens to use the mask, not to leave the house unless there is an urgent need, not to associate with the crowd, personal hygiene,  and if any symptoms of an illness appear seek medical advice.

 Dr. Sanjeev Wavre, Assistant Chief Health Officer, Pune Municipal Corporation, said that the number of infected patients who have undergone tests,  and been discharged in the last one week seems to have stabilized. 

Between April 15 and 21, the infection rate ranged from23% to 26%. It was 18 percent on April 24 and again on April 25, it seems to be 23 percent. The picture is confirming that the rate of infection is stable and the number of patients is under control, but all the preventive rules currently in place must be strictly followed. It is important for the citizens to keep in mind that the rate of patient growth is high and the rate of infection is high.

Consolation in the city as well as in the district The number of patients in Pune city Pimpri-Chinchwad and rural areas had crossed the daily twelve thousand mark during the second wave, a few days ago the daily number of patients had reached 10,000. But for the last two three days, the daily number of patients in the entire Pune district seems to have reached nine thousand.

Oxygen production plant to be set up from MLA funds: Chetan Tupe

 A 4 lakh tonne oxygen production plant will be set up at Annasaheb Magar Hospital, for which the MLA of Hadapsar Assembly constituency has taken the initiative. In this regard, MLA Tupe gave a letter to the District Collector to spend from the local development fund.

 State Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has recently increased the spending limit for MLAs from the local development fund available for Kovid 19 measures. Oxygen is important in the treatment of corona. But many patients are losing their lives due to a lack of oxygen . Therefore, MLA Tupe has immediately written a letter to the District Collector to start an oxygen plant from the local development fund.

Own hotel for Corona Center, an initiative of Shiv Sena sub-city chief Sameer Tupe.

The area under Hadapsar Mundhwa Regional Office has the highest number of patients in the city. Through Shiv Sena, a centralized oxygen system has been set up at Bhagyashree Hotel here and 30 beds have been arranged for corona patients. The patients will be treated through the management of Medicare Hospital here, informed Shiv Sena Sub City Chief Samir Tupe. Shiv Sena office bearers have taken the initiative to provide 30 beds for Hotel Bhagyashree Executive in view of the need for oxygen beds for the citizens, said Ganesh Rakh, Managing Director, Medicare Hospital. Dr. Lala Gaikwad, Managing Director of Medicare Hospital, Ganesh Rakh, Dr. Swapnil Bhadale, and Dr. Shantanu Jagdale were present on the occasion.

 I am satisfied that I have made the hotel available for the treatment of Corona sufferers by fulfilling the necessary arrangements for the patients through the initiative of Shiv Sainik and Medicare Hospitals with the feeling that we owe something to society while maintaining social commitment. Such sentiments were expressed by Tupe.

Need for vaccination center at Keshavnagar.

Mundhwa Keshavnagar Gram Panchayat is included in the Municipal Corporation. The population in this area is large. BJP city general secretary Sandeep Lonkar has demanded that a separate vaccination center be set up in the area. Lonkar has given a statement to Mayor Murlidhar Mohol that at present the citizens have to go to Kodre Hospital of Mundhwa Municipal Corporation for vaccination. This is causing a great deal of inconvenience and strain on the vaccination system. Sandeep Lonakar has suggested the mayor to start a vaccination center in the municipal school at Keshavnagar Bhoi Vasti as per the demand of the citizens.
