More and more people should come forward for blood donation – Food and Drug Administration Minister Dr Rajendra Shingane’s appeal.
Food and Drug Administration Minister Dr Rajendra Shingane has appealed to the blood donors in the state to come forward and donate blood. He also appealed to NGOs, all elements of the government, district collectors, chief officers, tehsildars and civil surgeons to take initiative at their level and conduct blood donation camps in compliance with the rules.
Dr Rajendra Shingane said that political office bearers should take initiative to organize blood donation camps on the birthdays of political leaders as well as anniversaries, anniversaries and other similar events.
Regular blood transfusions are required for thalassemia and cancer patients. Therefore, blood donors should come forward and donate blood voluntarily so that there is no shortage of blood. This has also been stated by Dr Rajendra Shingane.
Dr Shingane has directed the officials of the State Blood Transfusion Council and the Food and Drug Administration to make every effort to prepare a work plan for the availability of blood. Blood banks are urged to organize as many blood donation camps as possible.
