CM’s letter to PM regarding Mumbai to Hyderabad, Pune to Aurangabad high-speed railway line.
In a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has requested the state government to extend full cooperation in speeding up the work of Mumbai-Nashik-Nagpur High-Speed Railway, but also to connect Mumbai to Hyderabad via Pune and Aurangabad via Jalna and Nanded.
In his letter, the Chief Minister says that ‘Hindu Hriday Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samrudhi Highway’ is going along the till the proposed Mumbai to Nagpur high-speed railway line is burnt. The state government has decided to start an expressway between Jalna and Nanded. The National Highways Authority has already decided to connect Nanded to Hyderabad by expressway. Therefore, the high-speed railway line from Mumbai to Hyderabad via Jalna and Nanded will be combined.
Apart from this, Pune and Aurangabad should also be connected by a high-speed railway line so that not only these two cities but also Nashik will be greatly benefited. Because at present due to Mumbai and Nagpur route, Mumbai-Nashik-Aurangabad will be connected to each other. The Mumbai to Hyderabad route will also connect Mumbai and Pune at high speeds. Apart from this, the state government has proposed a route similar to a high-speed railway between Pune and Nashik. Therefore, all these cities will be connected to each other automatically, which will give a big boost to the industries, especially the automobile industry.
