Satyamev Jayate Prosperous Village Competition will change the future of villages- District Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh
The Satyamev Jayate Water Cup has connected the minds of the people of the villages and the prosperous villages are competing to enrich the connected minds through knowledge. Satyamev Jayate Samriddh Gaon Spardha will change the future of the villages, stated District Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh.
He was speaking at a function in honour of the villages which have been successful in the first phase of the Satyamev Jayate Samrudh Gaon Mini competition in Purandar taluka. MLA Sanjay Jagtap, Dr Avinash Pol of Pani Foundation, Namdev Nanavar were present on this occasion.
Collector Dr Deshmukh said that many villages have become waterlogged due to the Satyamev Jayate Water Cup competition. I have also experienced this while working in Satara and Yavatmal districts. The Pani Foundation has started the Satyamev Jayate Samriddh Gaon competition for the villages that have become waterlogged. He expressed confidence that all the villages in Purandar taluka will do well in this competition as well. He assured that the administration would extend all possible cooperation to make the village prosperous.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Jagtap said, “It is always a part of the competition at every stage of the competition. He said that he will participate in every initiative of the Pani Foundation in the coming time.
Dr Pol of the Pani Foundation gave information about mind conservation through water conservation and prosperity through knowledge conservation. He spoke about the six major components of the competition and the consequent sustainable prosperity of the village.
Mr Nanavare of Pani Foundation while giving information about the competition gave guidance on the addition of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme to the work of the competition.
Rajendra Kumbharkar of Vanpuri village also expressed his views on this occasion. The villages of Pokhar, Belsar, Garade, Panwadi, Vanpuri, Mandhar, Udachiwadi, Ambale, Rise were honoured by the dignitaries.
Purandar Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Nalini Lole, Deputy Collector Vanshree Lamshetwar, Purandar Tehsildar Rupali Sarnobat, Group Development Officer Amar Mane, Forest Range Officer, (Regional) Vishal Chavan, Pani Foundation Divisional Coordinator Abasaheb Lad were present on the occasion.
