Uday Samant, Minister of Higher and Technical Education, should follow the example of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, which is the jewel of the country.
Satara: Children of common people are studying in Rayat Shikshan Sanstha. Apart from imparting skilful education as per the needs of the time, employment is also being provided to the children after completion of the education in this educational institution. This institution is the jewel of the country and the model of this institution should be followed by other institutions in the country, stated the Minister of Higher and Technical Education, Uday Samant.
He was speaking at the 102nd-anniversary function of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha at Yashwantrao Chavan Institute of Science. MLA Balaram Patil, Chairman of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha Dr Anil Patil, Secretary Dr Vitthal Shivankar, Ramsheth Thakur etc. were present in the program.
Speaking at the occasion, Shri. Samant said Padma Bhushan Dr Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil’s work in the field of education is invaluable. More than four and a half lakh students are studying in this institute. The work of the organization is ideal and all cooperation will be provided by the government for the organization
Students from other countries go to foreign universities to study. Mr Samant also expressed confidence that students from outside will come here to visit Rayat Shikshan Sanstha in future and also students from Mumbai, Pune will come to study at Rayat Shikshan Sanstha.
On this occasion, Dr Patil said, the anniversary of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha is being celebrated to express gratitude for the contribution made by society. Prabodhankar Thackeray has been instrumental in the formation of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha. He said that the organization is educating the children as per the needs of the time.
Mr. Samant launched Rayat Vigyan Patrika and launched e-Rayat app.
