Mumbai: Sufficient Funds will be made available for the development of Sindkhedraja and other tourist destinations in the Buldana district, said Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.
Food and Drug Administration and Guardian Minister Dr Rajendra Shingane are continuously pursuing the development of Sindkhedraja and other tourist destinations in the state. A meeting was held with Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and Tourism Minister Aditya Thackeray at the Ministry regarding tourism development.
Both agreed to the request of Guardian Minister Dr Rajendra Shingane that Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and Tourism Minister Aditya Thackeray should visit and inspect the site.
Sindkhedraja in the Buldana district has a historical background. There are 16 tourist sites out of which five are under the jurisdiction of the Archaeological Department under the jurisdiction of the Center. This place is known as Maher of Matoshri Jijabai of Shivaji Maharaj. Apart from this, many tourists visit this place due to places like Hindu Raja Lakhoji Rao’s palace, Rangmahal, Nilkantheshwar temple.
The facilities at Ajanta, Ellora, Daulatabad and other tourist destinations in Aurangabad district were also reviewed. The state will extend its support to the Archaeological Survey of India for the development of tourism and preservation of heritage, said Tourism Minister Aditya Thackeray.
