Appeal to follow government guidelines and instructions for the Covid-19 ban.

Suggestion to implement vaccination campaign for students in coordination with local administration.

Mumbai: – Approval is being given to start regular classes in all the agricultural universities in the state and their affiliated government and private unaided schools and colleges from October 20, 2021, informed the state’s Agriculture Minister Dadaji Bhuse. Classes up to class 12 in rural and urban areas of the state have been started from October 4, 2021. College students are above 18 years of age and most of the students have been vaccinated. At the same time, the number of Covid-19 infected patients in the state has come down drastically and at present, it is seen that the outbreak is under control. In this connection, the Department of Higher and Technical Education has approved the commencement of regular classes in all non-agricultural universities, reputed universities, self-financed universities and their affiliated colleges from October 20, 2021, through a circular dated October 13, 2021. Of course, all students above the age of 18 should have taken two doses of the vaccine when entering school or college or university. Online facilities should be made available for students who are unable to attend the actual college. Agricultural universities should decide to start classes with 50% or more capacity in consultation with the local administration, provide detailed guidelines / standard operating procedures (SOPs) to the colleges accordingly, start with dormitory taping, with local district administration for students who have not been vaccinated with Covid-19. A special coordination campaign should be carried out for vaccination. Also, teachers and non-teaching staff should be vaccinated as a matter of priority, said Agriculture Minister Shri Bhuse.

Since the National Directive on Management of Covid 19, Additional Instructions on Workplace, Guidelines or Standard Procedures issued by the State Government from time to time are applicable to all Agricultural Universities, Schools and Colleges, Agricultural Universities, Colleges and Students should follow all Government Instructions to prevent corona infection. Such an appeal has also been made by the Minister of Agriculture, Shri Bhuse.
