Mumbai: Officers and staff of the health department will be appointed as inspectors at the examination centre in the Group C category of the public health department of the state government. Health Services Commissioner N. Ramaswamy has instructed the concerned Deputy Director to take action in this regard.
A written test will be held next Sunday for the recruitment of Group C posts in the health department. Regarding the preparation of this examination, Commissioner N. Ramaswamy reviewed the situation via video conference yesterday. Additional Campaign Director Dr Satish Pawar, Director of Health Services Dr Archana Patil along with all the Deputy Directors of the Health Department in the State, Co-Directors, District Surgeons and Examination Officers and representatives of the Trust Company were present.

Mr N. Ramaswamy should appoint health department officials and staff as inspectors at each examination centre. A list of such officers and employees should be sent. Demand for a police escort to transport question papers and keep answer sheets. He directed that necessary action should be taken in coordination with the district administration to implement Section 144 in the examination centre premises.
Enforcement of covid rules
District Surgeon, Deputy Director should inspect the examination centre in the school. Care should be taken to implement the rules regarding Kovid while conducting the examination. Presented by Ramaswamy.
Seating arrangements, security will be inspected
The Deputy Director, Joint Director, District Surgeon should visit the schools identified by Satish Pawar as the examination centre. Instructions have been given to make arrangements for seating arrangement, cleanliness and safety in schools.
Disabled candidates will get facilities
Director Dr Archana Patil should take care that concessions will be given to the disabled candidates as per the guidelines of the Central Government and the State Government. Officers and staff assigned for the examination should be provided with masks and sanitisers, he said.
