Mumbai: The Chief Executive Officer should take the initiative to implement the Adarsh Shala Yojana for the educational and physical development of Zilla Parishad schools and for the development of Nizam-era schools. The aim of the government is to increase the quality of education along with the basic facilities of schools. Varsha Gaikwad said.
The meeting was organized under the chairmanship of Prof. Varsha Gaikwad, Minister for School Education through a visionary system to review the ongoing work on the development of Nizam-era schools and the Adarsh Shala Yojana.
School Education Minister Prof. Varsha Gaikwad said that the implementation of Adarsh Shala Yojana in every district and development work of Nizam schools in the concerned districts needs to be done urgently. Funds will be distributed for the maintenance of schools in the disaster affected areas of the Raigad district. Vaccination of teachers and non-teaching staff should be completed in the background of Kovid, if there are any problems, they will be assisted to solve them. Planning is required for school repairs, and funds should be raised through social organizations. He also directed the districts to submit information on the work done so far immediately.
Upper Chief Secretary Vandana Krishna said the Adarsh School scheme would include an attractive building, playground, sports equipment, ICT and science laboratory. Funds have been approved for this work and will be distributed soon. He also directed the concerned districts to take various measures and submit immediate reports on the vaccination of teachers and non-teaching staff.
