An appeal regarding registration and re-registration of Civil Defense Volunteers.
Mumbai: The Civil Defense Force has so far carried out relief and relief work in and out of the state during many natural and man-made disasters. The policy is to expand the scope of the Civil Defense Force without limiting it to the city. With a view to emergency measures, the process of registration and re-registration of Civil Defense Volunteers has been started in Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Nashik, Raigad and Palghar districts, the Director of Civil Defense said in a press release.
The Directorate of Civil Defense has appealed to a large number of citizens who want to serve the country by joining the Civil Defense Force to register and re-register.
The process of registration and re-registration of Civil Defense Volunteers has been resumed in Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Nashik, Raigad and Palghar. However, the citizens who want to become a volunteer member in the Civil Defense Force should visit the website of this department http://maharashtracdhg.gov.in and download the Civil Defense Volunteer Registration and Re-Registration Forms along with the given terms and conditions. Fill in the registration / re-registration form and contact the concerned Civil Protection Office in your area and submit it yourself and get information about the further process. An appeal has been made by the Directorate of Civil Defense to give your contribution as a volunteer for the service of the country.
