Mumbai: Through the school education and literacy department of the central government on Friday across the country. The National Achievement Survey will be conducted on 12 November 2021. All the students from all the schools selected for this survey will be present and care will be taken that Maharashtra will not lag behind in the survey, said the Minister of School Education Prof. Varsha Gaikwad.

An online meeting of the state’s director of education, deputy director, education officer, principal and concerned was held today under the chairmanship of Prof. Varsha Gaikwad in connection with the National Editing Survey to assess the health of the country’s education process and the editing of students’ learning outcomes. At this time Prof. Gaikwad interacted with the concerned Education Officer, Principal regarding the preparation of the survey and gave guidance by reviewing.

The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary of School Education Vandana Krishna, State Project Director Rahul Dwivedi, State Council for Educational Research and Training MD Singh, Education Commissioner Vishal Solanki, Director of Education (Primary) Dinkar Temkar, Director of Education (Secondary and Higher Secondary). ) Mahesh Palkar and other concerned officers were present.

Additional Chief Secretary Smt. Krishna also instructed the concerned officers about the survey.

In the beginning, Mr Singh informed about the survey being conducted in the state and the preparations made accordingly through a presentation. In the academic year 2021-22, guidelines have been issued by the state government for the safe start of classes V to VIII in rural areas and VIII to XII in urban areas. However, as the National Editing Survey will be conducted simultaneously across the country by the Central Government, all the management, third, fifth, eighth and tenth classes in the medium schools selected for the survey presented in rural and urban areas will continue on November 12, 2021. He said that the concerned headmasters, teachers, students as well as field investigators of the schools selected for the survey have been instructed to be present for the process of the survey. It was informed that 2 lakh 34 thousand 55 students from 7330 schools of class III, V, VIII and X in the state have been selected by the Central Government for this survey.
