The appeal of Cultural Directorate to send entries for Maharashtra State Drama Competition by 30th November.Maharashtra State Drama Competition

Mumbai: The Directorate of Cultural Affairs of the State Government is inviting entries from 15 November 2021 to 30 November 2021 for the State Drama Competitions starting from 1st January 2022.

The preliminary round of the 60th Amateur Marathi Drama Competition will be held from January 1, 2022, at various competition centres in the state of Maharashtra. Also, the final round of the 60th Maharashtra State Amateur Hindi, Music and Sanskrit Drama Competition will be held from 1st February 2022 at one centre each.

A deposit of Rs. 3,000 / – for the Drama Competition is to be sent by the Competing Organization to the Director, Cultural Affairs, State of Maharashtra, Mumbai. The same amount will be refunded to the institutions after the performance in the competition. Entries in the prescribed format for registered amateur drama institutes as well as drama institutes that participated in last year’s State Drama Competition will be available under the headline www.mahasanskruti.org. 1) Institutions from Mumbai, Konkan and Nashik divisions should submit entries at the address of the Director, Directorate of Cultural Affairs, Old Secretariat, Vistar Bhavan, 1st Floor, Mahatma Gandhi Marg, Mumbai-32 (022-22043550).

2) Institutions in Pune Revenue Department should submit the entry form to the Assistant Director, Directorate of Cultural Affairs, Divisional Office, Bungalow No. 4, Airport Road, Pune (020-26686099).

3) Institutions of Aurangabad Revenue Department should submit the entry form to the Assistant Director, Directorate of Cultural Affairs, Divisional Office, Room No. 02, MTDC Building, Opposite Goldie Talkies, Station Road, Aurangabad-431005 (08788893590).

4) Institutions in Nagpur and Amravati Revenue Departments should submit entries at the address of Assistant Director, Directorate of Cultural Affairs, Divisional Office, Guardian, Central Museum, Temporary Exhibition Hall, Ground Floor, Civil Lines, Nagpur-440001 (0712-2554211).

Entries received after the prescribed period will not be accepted under any circumstances. The entry will be disqualified if the required documents are not attached with the entry or full details are not filled. All competing bodies should kindly note that no correspondence will be made regarding the errors in the entries. Government rules will be binding on institutions for drama competitions. Violation of the rules will disqualify the organization, said Mr Bibhishan Chavre, Director, Directorate of Cultural Affairs.
