Polling for Bhandara and Gondia Zilla Parishads on 21st December.
Mumbai: Bhandara and Gondia Zilla Parishads; Polling for the 15 Panchayat Samiti general elections will be held on December 21, 2021, and counting of votes will be held on December 22, 2021, according to a press release issued by the State Election Commission.
52 of Bhandara Zilla Parishad and 104 of 7 Panchayat Samitis under it; The general elections will be held for 106 seats of Gondia Zilla Parishad’s 53 and 8 Panchayat Samiti under it. The code of conduct has been implemented in the respective places from today and it will remain in force till the election results are declared. Nominations will be accepted from 1 to 6 December 2021. Nominations will not be accepted as of December 5, 2021, is a holiday. The scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on December 7, 2021. Voting will take place on December 21, 2021, from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm. Counting will begin at 10:00 a.m. on December 22, 2021.
Names of Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti for holding General Elections: Bhandara Zilla Parishad – Panchayat Samiti under it – Tumsar, Mohadi, Bhandara, Sakoli, Lakhni, Pawani and Lakhandur and Gondia Zilla Parishad – Panchayat Samiti under it – Gondia, Tiroda, Goregaon, Amgaon, Saleksa, Sadakarjuni, Arjuni Morgaon and Deori.
