‘Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar: The Untold Truth’, a film broadcast on social media on December 6.
Mumbai: Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar’s Mahaparinirvana Day, dt. On December 6, 2021, at 11.00 am ‘Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar: The Untold Truth ‘will be broadcast on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube of the Directorate General of Public Relations. The film is co-produced by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India and Directorate General of Information and Public Relations, Government of Maharashtra.
The first law minister of independent India, the sculptor of the Indian constitution, the great man Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar’s work is incomparable in various fields. Dr Babasaheb, who has immense intelligence, spent his entire life for society. He mainly thought of the people at the bottom of society. Struggled all his life for education, for the welfare of society. “Learn, unite and fight,” he said. The film ‘Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar: The Untold Truth’ is a must watch to understand the work of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar who has done such an extraordinary feat.
Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar: The Untold Truth is directed by Jabbar Patel. Actor Mammootty has played the lead role of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar and Sonali Kulkarni has played the role of Ramabai Ambedkar. Mohan Gokhale and Mrinal Kulkarni also have roles in the film. Production assistance is provided by National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) and screenwriting is done by Soni Taraporewala, Arun Sadhu, Daya Pawar. The film was researched by Dr Y D Phadke. The consultant is Shyam Benegal, the costumes are by Bhanu Athaiya, the music is by Amar Haldipur, the photo direction is by Ashok Mehta.
