Department of Cultural Affairs will take initiative for organizing an art-literature dialogue based on the work of Sane Guruji – Minister for Cultural Affairs Amit Deshmukh.

MUMBAI: The Department of Cultural Affairs will take initiative to organize an art-literature dialogue based on Sane Guruji’s work to reach out to more people, said Cultural Affairs Minister Amit Deshmukh. Sane Guruji

A meeting was held at Mantralaya today under the chairmanship of Cultural Affairs Minister Amit Deshmukh regarding the projects of the Inter-Bharati Translation Facilitation Center coming under Sane Guruji National Memorial.

Mr Deshmukh said that Inter-Indian Translation Facilitation Center has been started under Sane Guruji National Memorial. The Department of Cultural Affairs, in collaboration with the Center, will make efforts to organize art-literature dialogues to reach out to as many people as possible. Every year, the trust will send a proposal on how to conduct art dialogue from Sane Guruji’s birthday on 24th December to 31st December through the Inter-Indian Translation Facilitation Center.

Efforts will be made through Inter-Bharati Translation Facilitation Center to spread the translation of excellent literature in Marathi all over the world. This is an effort for the preservation of the Marathi language and the Department of Cultural Affairs will help. Apart from this, when it was proposed to give residential fellowship to the writers for writing, the state government will also consider this positively, said the Minister of Cultural Affairs, Shri. Deshmukh said.
