The tenth and twelfth examination fees were waived for students who lost their parents due to the outbreak of Covid-19.

Mumbai: – It has been decided to waive the entire examination fee of the regular students who have lost their parents due to covid-19 and will be appearing for theMinister of School Education, Prof. Varsha Gaikwad. Class X and XII examinations in 2022 as a special matter, informed the Minister of School Education, Prof. Varsha Gaikwad.

Some students have lost their parents or legal guardians / adoptive parents due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus. Due to financial constraints, such students may have difficulty in paying fees for Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class X), Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (Class XII). Therefore, if students are deprived of exams, their academic progress will be hampered and the further journey is likely to be interrupted. Therefore, taking into consideration the wider interests of such disadvantaged students in the State of Maharashtra, the full examination fees of such regular students appearing for the Class X and Class XII examinations to be conducted by the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in the State of Maharashtra in the year 2021-22. The government has approved the waiver.
