New series for two-wheelers soon at the Sub Regional Transport Office.
Pune: A new series for two-wheelers will be launched soon at the Sub-Regional Transport Office at Pimpri-Chinchwad.
To reserve the remaining attractive registration numbers for two-wheelers in the two-wheeler series, the application should be submitted on 7th December from 11 am to 2.30 pm in the prescribed format.
The application should be submitted to the new vehicle registration department of the office along with the DD, proof of address, Aadhaar card, identity card, attested copy of PAN card along the mobile number linked to Aadhaar card.
Money (DD) should be in the name of ‘Deputy RTO Pimpri Chinchwad’ of Nationalized or Scheduled Bank of Pune. The applicant is required to provide an identity card with his / her photograph along with the application.
The list of four-wheelers will be posted on the office notice board on December 7 in the morning. If the applicants in the list wish to submit a higher amount of DD for auction, they should submit it in a sealed envelope to the office by 2.30 pm on 7th December and on the same day at 3.30 pm open the envelope in the room of the Deputy Regional Transport Officer in the presence of the Registration Authority. The preferred number will be distributed to those who submit DD of a higher amount.
The list of two-wheelers will be posted on the office notice board on December 8. Applicants for the two-wheeler, if they want to deposit a large amount of money for the auction, they should deposit it in the office in a sealed envelope by 2.30 pm on December 8.
On the same day at 3.30 pm in the room of the Deputy Regional Transport Officer in the presence of the Registration Officer, the envelopes will be opened and the preferred number will be distributed to the applicant who has submitted DD amount in excess of the specified fee.
Once registered registration number cannot be changed. If the vehicle is not submitted for registration within 30 days from the date of registration, the reserved registration number will be automatically cancelled and the fee will be credited to the Government. The fee provided for reserving any specific registration number will not be refunded, the Deputy Regional Transport Officer said.
