On the occasion of Mahaparinirvana Day, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar visited Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar at Chaityabhoomi.
Mumbai: – On the occasion of Mahaparinirvana Day of the sculptor of Indian Constitution, Gyansurya, Mahamanav, Bharat Ratna, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar visited the Chaityabhoomi at Dadar in Mumbai this morning and greeted the memory of Dr Babasaheb. The idea of unity, equality, brotherhood and inter-religious harmony given by Dr Babasaheb will take the country and society forward. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has appealed to all of us to resettle on these ideas.
On the occasion of Dr Babasaheb’s Mahaparinirvana Day, recalling his work and thoughts, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said that Dr Babasaheb taught us to ‘learn and unite’. The Constitution gave dignity, respect, justice, freedom of expression, the right to vote and equality to every person in society. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the entire credit for keeping our politically, socially, culturally and geographically diverse country united, united and sovereign lies with the Indian Constitution and Babasaheb’s vision. It is the duty of all of us to protect the Constitution given by Dr Babasaheb and the rights conferred by the Constitution and let us all be determined for that, said the Deputy Chief Minister. The Deputy Chief Minister has also paid homage to the brothers and sisters coming from all over the country at Chaityabhoomi to greet Dr Babasaheb. Due to the Corona crisis, many people visited their homes this year. The Deputy Chief Minister has also thanked Babasaheb for greeting him.
