Announcement of the Indian team for the Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
The 17-member Indian squad for next year’s Under-19 Cricket World Cup was announced yesterday.
The 14th Under-19 Cricket World Cup will be held in the West Indies from January 14 to February 5. India’s B group includes South Africa, Ireland and Uganda.
Delhi batsman Yash Dhool has been named captain, while SK Rashid has been named vice-captain; Dinesh Bana, the wicketkeeper, Nishant Sindhu, Siddharth Yadav, Raj Angatbawa, Manav Prakash, Kaushal Tambe, Vasu Vats, Vicky Otswal, Ravi Kumar and Gaurav Sangwan will be part of the team. 16 teams will play 48 matches in this tournament.
