The issue of the ST workers’ strikes is still unresolved in the High Court.
The issue of the ST workers’ strike has not been resolved in the High Court even today. Mumbai High Court has adjourned the hearing till next Wednesday.
In today’s hearing, the state government mentioned that the salary increase was given, but the lawyer of ST employees Gunwant Sadavarte said that the salary increase was unjust. He also clarified that salary increase is not the main demand but the demand for mergers is the main issue.
He further added that the employees were being deliberately harassed and transferred.
