State health survey officials claim that mass transmission of omecron has started in Mumbai and Pune.
Mumbai: Dr Pradeep Awate, State Health Survey Officer, has claimed that the mass infection of Omaicron has started in Mumbai and Pune. Against the backdrop of increasing omikron prevalence in both these metros, IISER, an organization based in Pune, has conducted a survey on omikron infection.
TThe 38 affected patients did not make any international trips. The number of patients without symptoms was high. Fewer symptoms, less hospitalization; “Even though the death rate is low, we all need to follow the rules to prevent the spread of the disease,” Awate said.
