36 people infected with Omicron from the Pune Municipal Corporation area.
About 12,000 corona patients were registered in the state yesterday.
Mumbai: 11 thousand 877 patients of Covid-19 were found in the state yesterday and 9 deaths were recorded. Now the number of patients undergoing treatment in the state has reached 42 thousand 24. 8 thousand 63 new patients were found in Mumbai yesterday. Of these, only 503 patients had to be hospitalized and 56 of them needed oxygen. No patient died of corona in Mumbai yesterday.
In the state, 2,069 patients recovered and went home yesterday, while 9 patients died. So far 66 lakh 99 thousand 868 people have been infected with a corona in the state, out of which 65 lakh 12 thousand 610 patients have been cured so far. So, 1 lakh 41 thousand 542 patients died. The recovery rate of patients in the state has come down to 97 integers 21 per cent. So, the mortality rate is 2 integers 11 per cent.
In the state, 50 patients were infected with omecron yesterday. Out of the 36 are from Pune Municipal Corporation and 8 are from Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. Two each in Pune rural and Sangli districts and one each in Thane and Mumbai. So far, 510 omecron-infected patients have been registered in the state. Out of them, 193 patients were discharged from the hospital after their RTPCR test was negative, the health department said.
