A special brief revision of voter lists from 1st November.
Pune: The Election Commission of India has announced a special brief revision of the voter list with photographs based on the eligibility date of January 1, 2022.
The consolidated draft voter lists will be released on Monday, November 1, 2021, under this program. Claims and objections will be accepted from November 1 to 30. A special campaign will be launched on Saturday 13th November, Sunday 14th November, Saturday 27th November and Sunday 28th November 2021 to accept applications, claims and objections for voter registration.
Claims and objections will be settled by Monday, December 20, 2021, and the final publication of the voter list will be made on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. During this program, new voter registration, duplication of names, correction of names, addresses, other details, transfer of voter registration etc. will be processed.
Form 6 for voter registration in case of new voter registration or transfer from one constituency to another, Form 6-A for voter registration of an Indian citizen residing abroad, Objection to include other person’s name, Form 7 for the omission of own or other person’s name, in detail Form 8-A must be filled for transfer of voter list entry (if the place of residence has been changed in the same constituency) for correction to be made. During the campaign, these samples should be filled and handed over to the Booth Level Officer (BLO). All these facilities are also available online at https://www.nvsp.in.
