Congratulations from Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to the winners of Police Bravery, President’s Police Medal, Fire Fighting Bravery Medal.
Announcement of the medals on the eve of Independence Day by the Union Home Ministry.
Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has congratulated 78 police officers and staff of Maharashtra who have won the Police Bravery Medal, President’s Police Medal and Medal for Quality Service for their contribution to the police service.
“We are proud of the Maharashtra Police. Awakening to the breath of the police force, these officers and employees have done their duty and added to the glory of Maharashtra, ”said the Chief Minister, praising the officers and employees of the Maharashtra Police Force.
The Union Home Ministry has announced the list of 1,380 medal-winning officers and employees in the country. Three officers from Maharashtra have won the President’s Police Medal for outstanding service, 25 officers and staff have won the Police Bravery Medal, 45 officers and staff have won the Police Medal for quality service and 11 police officers have won the Union Home Minister’s Medal for outstanding investigation. In addition, eight fire officers and employees of the state fire brigade have been awarded the ‘Fire Service Bravery Medal’. The Chief Minister has congratulated all of them and appreciated their courage.
