Pune: On the occasion of the upcoming Diwali celebrations, the Maval-Mulshi Sub-Divisional Magistrate has appealed to apply till November 1 to get temporary licenses for the sale of decorative colourful crackers and firecrackers for Maval and Mulshi talukas. These licenses will be for areas outside the limits of Pune City Police Commissionerate in Maval and Mulshi talukas.

A court fee stamp of Rs. 10 is required along with the application for the license. Income register of the place of business or if the place belongs to someone else, related to the use of the place; Consent letter on stamp paper of Rs. 100, certificate of penalty or punishment of police inspector or sub-inspector, certificate of no-objection and certificate of a safe place of business If so, a copy of it and license fee of Rs. 600 should be deposited in the government treasury and its original challan should be attached with the application.

The deadline for the sale of decorative colourful crackers and firecrackers is November 8, 2021. License holders should not keep the remaining goods near after the expiry of the license. The remaining goods must be kept with the license holder who has a permanent license. Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Maval-Mulshi Sub-Division, Pune Divisional Revenue Training Academy, S.No.23, Bawadhan Bu. Ta. These licenses will be issued through Mulshi (Dist. Pune).

Be safe in the vicinity of shops

No one should smoke within 100 meters from the store of decorative liquor and firecrackers, and no fireworks should be set up within 100 meters of the shop. Deputy Divisional Magistrate Maval-Mulshi has also ordered that rockets of decorative liquor should not be flown for testing.
