Approval to implement eight schemes of Public Health Department from District Annual Plan Fund – Information of Public Health Minister Rajesh Tope
Expansion of hospital building, the audit can be done.
Mumbai: In order to provide better health facilities to the citizens, approval has been given to implement three schemes through the District Surgeon and five schemes through the District Health Officer from the funds of the District Annual Plan. This will enable construction, expansion, repair and maintenance of the hospital building, audit of the building, electrical connection, purchase of ambulances from the funds of the district annual plan, informed Public Health Minister Rajesh Tope.
In the wake of Kovid, the state government has given priority to strengthening health services in the state. For this, orders were issued in the field of district annual plan at the field office level of the health department. Government decisions have been issued to bring uniformity in this, said Shri. Tope said.
The state has 526 health hospitals with 30 or more beds. Out of these, an audit of 519 hospital buildings has been completed. Out of which 488 building estimates have been received. A fund of Rs 218 crore is required for this. Out of this, proposals worth Rs. 24 crores have been approved at the state level. Proposals worth Rs. 58.68 crore have been approved by the District Planning Committee. The remaining proposals will be able to be approved from the funds of the District Planning Committee, said Mr Tope.
Information of sanction given as per Government Resolution is as under: From District Annual Plan to District Surgeon
1) Purchase of medicines, materials and equipment for the hospital
2) Construction, Expansion, Repair and Maintenance of Hospitals, Purchase and Maintenance of Fire Protection System, Audit of Hospital Building, Audit of Electrical Connection,
3) Hospitals have been sanctioned to procure ambulances as per norms and to carry out maintenance and repair schemes.
Five different schemes have been approved by the District Health Officer. It includes the following plans
1) Purchase of medicines, materials and equipment for the hospital
2) Construction, Expansion, Repair and Maintenance of Hospitals, Purchase and Maintenance of Fire Protection System, Audit of Hospital Building, Audit of Electrical Connection, Construction of Peat Barrel
3) Purchase and maintenance of ambulances to primary health centres as per norms
4) Strengthening of Primary Health Centers, Sub-Centers, Ayurvedic Unani Hospitals
5) Approval has been given for the construction of Zilla Parishad dispensaries, construction of primary health teams etc.
