BCCI president Sourav Ganguly was admitted to the hospital after testing positive for COVID-19.
Kolkata: Board of Control for Cricket in India president Sourav Ganguly has been tested Covid-19 positive and admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata last night.
The former India captain is with mild symptoms and is stable. He was feeling sick for a few days and his RT PCR report turned to be Covid positive. He is reportedly fully vaccinated.
His sample will be sent for genome sequencing. Shri Ganguly has been under the supervision of a medical board comprising Dr Saroj Mondal, Dr Soutik Panda, Dr Saptarshi Bose, Dr Devi Shetty, and Dr Aftab Khan.
TMC MP Derek O’ Brien also has tested positive for Covid 19. In a tweet he said, he has ‘moderate symptoms. Isolating at home. Was always ultra-careful.
