Mumbai: – Abhishek Satish Nanavare, son of Baramati, has won the Ironman Championship in South Africa.
In his congratulatory message, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar says that in the Ironman competition, Abhishek completed the challenge of cycling 180 km, running 42.2 km and swimming at a distance of 3.8 km in a record time of 13 hours and 33 minutes.
Abhishek’s father Satish Nanavare has already won the title, Iron Man. Under the guidance of his father and following in his footsteps, Abhishek achieved this feat at the tender age of eighteen.
