Efforts are being made by the administration to control the coronavirus. Home Minister Dilip Walse-Patil suggested that the citizens who took the first dose should plan and give the second dose as a priority considering the third wave of the possible corona. He was also instructed to take action as per the guidelines given by the government regarding some relaxation in the restrictions in Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad metropolis.
A review meeting on Corona situation and measures in the district was held under the chairmanship of Home Minister Dilip Walse-Patil in the hall of Pune Vidhan Bhavan. He was talking at the time.

Home Minister Walse Patil said considering the possibility of a third wave of the corona, increase the manpower considering the population in rural areas. Establish a cell to vaccinate workers in a timely manner in consultation with the labour department, taking into account the impact on the industrial sector. Follow government guidelines for vaccination. Plan to reduce corona mortality, he suggested.
Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Council Nilmathai Gorhe said that she would discuss the state-level action force to reduce the gap between the two doses and submit a proposal to the state government on behalf of the administration. The experience of corona free villages will be a guide for other villages, the experience of such corona free villages can be a guide for all. Gorhe also suggested thinking positively in this regard.

Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao gave a presentation on the corona patient rate in the district this week as compared to the previous week, measures being implemented by the administration in the district, sample testing of citizens, infected patients, hospital management, vaccination status, patient myocardial infarction rate, mortality rate, oxygen plant status.
Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Rajesh Patil informed about the measures being taken by the corporation.
District Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh and ZP Chief Executive Officer Ayush Prasad gave information about the condition of Corona patients in rural areas and measures. The meeting was attended by the chief officers of various agencies.
