India’s COVID-19 Vaccination Coverage crosses the landmark of 32 cr.

In a significant achievement, India’s cumulative vaccination coverage exceeded 32 Crores yesterday. A total of 32,17,60,077 vaccine doses have been administered through 42,79,210 sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am today. 64,25,893 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.

The new phase of universalization of COVID-19 vaccination commenced on 21 June 2021. The Union Government is committed to accelerating the pace and expanding the scope of COVID19 vaccination throughout the country.  India has reported 50,040 new cases in the last 24 hours.  Less than 1 lakh Daily New Cases have been reported for 20 continuous days now. This is a result of sustained and collaborative efforts by the Centre and the States/UTs.

India has also been witnessing a continuous fall in its active caseload. The country’s Active Caseload today stands at 5,86,403 today.  A net decline of 9,162 is witnessed in the last 24 hours and active cases are now only 1.94% of the country’s total Positive Cases.

As more people are getting recovered from COVID-19 infection, India’s Daily Recoveries continue to outnumber the Daily New Cases for 45 consecutive days now. 57,944 recoveries were registered in the last 24 hours. Nearly 8 thousand (7,904) more recoveries were reported during the last 24 hours as compared to the daily new cases.

Out of the people infected since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,92,51,029 people have already recovered from COVID-19 and 57,944 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. This constitutes an overall recovery rate of 96.75%, which is showing a sustained increasing trend. 

With substantially ramped up testing capacity across the country, a total of 17,77,309 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours in the country. Cumulatively, India has conducted over 40.42 crores (40,42,65,101) tests so far.

While on one side testing capacity has been enhanced across the country, a continued decline in weekly case positivity is noticed. The weekly Positivity Rate is currently at 2.91% while the Daily Positivity rate stands at 2.82% today. It has remained less than 5% for 20 consecutive days now.

देशव्यापी कोविड प्रतिबंधक लसीकरण मोहिमेअंतर्गत, लसीच्या एकूण 32 कोटींहून अधिक मात्रा देऊन भारताने एक महत्वाचा टप्पा ओलांडला आहे. सकाळी 7 वाजेपर्यंत प्राप्त तात्पुरत्या माहितीनुसार, 42,79,210 लसीकरण सत्रांच्या माध्यमातून लसीच्या एकूण 32,17,60,077 मात्रा देण्यात आल्या आहेत. गेल्या 24 तासात लसीच्या 64,25,893 मात्रा देण्यात आल्या.

कोविड-19 प्रतिबंधक लसीकरणाच्या सार्वत्रिकीकरणाच्या  नव्या टप्प्याला 21 जून 2021 पासून सुरुवात झाली. देशभरात कोविड-19 प्रतिबंधक लसीकरणाची गती आणि व्याप्ती वाढविण्यासाठी केंद्र सरकार वचनबद्ध आहे. भारतात गेल्या 24 तासात  50,040 नव्या कोरोना रुग्णांची नोंद झाली. सलग 20 व्या दिवशी दैनंदिन नव्या कोविड रुग्णांची संख्या 1 लाखाच्या खाली नोंदविण्यात आली. केंद्र आणि राज्ये / केंद्रशासित प्रदेशांच्या निरंतर आणि एकत्रित  प्रयत्नांचा हा  परिणाम आहे. भारतात सक्रिय रुग्ण संख्येतही सातत्याने घट होताना दिसत आहे. देशात सक्रिय रुग्णसंख्या आज 5,86,403 आहे.

गेल्या 24 तासांत सक्रिय रुग्णसंख्येत 9,162 रुग्णांची निव्वळ घट झाली असून देशात नोंद झालेल्या एकूण कोरोना रुग्ण संख्येच्या तुलनेत हे प्रमाण आता केवळ 1.94%  आहे.  बहुतांश लोक कोविड -19 संसर्गातून  बरे होत आहेत, भारतात सलग 45 दिवस  दैनंदिन नवीन कोरोना रुग्णांपेक्षा दैनंदिन बरे होणाऱ्यांची संख्या अधिक आहे.गेल्या 24 तासात  57,944 रुग्ण कोरोनातून बरे झाले आहेत.

देशभरात एकीकडे चाचण्या वाढविण्यात आल्या आहेत, तर दुसरीकडे साप्ताहिक रुग्णसंख्येत  सतत घट दिसून येत आहे. साप्ताहिक पॉझिटिव्हिटी दर सध्या 2.91% आहे तर दैनंदिन पॉझिटिव्हिटी दर आज  2.82% असून गेले सलग 20 दिवस हा दर 5% पेक्षा कमी राहिला आहे.
