70 lakh covid vaccination phase passed in Pune district; Attempt to complete vaccination of more and more people – Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar

In the district, the stage of vaccination against measles has crossed 70 lakhs. 2 lakh 83 thousand 327 samples have been tested in rural areas under Dhadak survey campaign. Deputy Chief Minister and Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar today informed that the Covid Mukta Gaon Abhiyan has been launched in the hotspot villages in rural areas through five action groups namely Covid Behavior Awareness, Research Test Treatment, Covid Care Center, Government Scheme and Covid Vaccination. A review meeting on Corona situation and measures in the district was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar in the hall of Divisional Commissioner’s Office, Pune Vidhan Bhavan. At that time Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar was speaking. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said; The district has seen a decline in the number of patients in the last four weeks. The administration is preparing to face a possible third wave of the corona, and citizens must follow the rules. There are 10 oxygen plants in Pune Municipal Corporation, 3 in Pimpri Chinchwad and 12 in Pune Rural. The district is becoming self-sufficient in oxygen in view of the expected oxygen requirement in the wake of a possible third wave.

The second dose is preferred before the first dose in the district. The pace of vaccination in the district is satisfactory. About 70 lakh stages of Covid vaccination have been completed. Efforts are underway to make more vaccines available. The government also controls private hospital vaccinations. Also, the audit of medical payments of private hospitals is started from time to time. Although the number of patients has been declining, the number of tests has not been reduced.

In the Super Spreader Survey sample test, the RTPCR sample of MIDC factory sector workers and labourers, bank employees as well as social office bearers and workers is being tested. The number of hotspot villages has been reduced from 109 to 95 due to the Dhadak survey campaign. Special attention is also being paid to hotspot villages in rural areas. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar also said that the decision would be taken based on the guidance given by the experts of the task force.

Dr Subhash Salunke said that special attention needs to be paid to the rainy season diseases of children. He also said that family members should be vaccinated as much as possible before starting school. Said Salunke.

Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao said that the coroner’s disease rate in the district this week as compared to the previous week, measures being implemented by the administration in the district, sample testing of citizens, infected patients, hospital management, vaccination status, patient myocardial infarction rate, mortality rate, current status of oxygen plant. .

Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Rajesh Patil informed about the measures being taken by the Municipal Corporation.

District Collector Dr. Rajesh Deshmukh and ZP Chief Executive Officer Ayush Prasad gave information about the condition of corona patients in rural areas and measures. The meeting was attended by the chief officers of various agencies.
