Dedication of e-service centre at District and Sessions Court.

Guardian Justice Anil Kilor’s appeal to avail e-services.

The outbreak of corona has adversely affected the functioning of the judiciary and has created the need for online court proceedings. Justice Anil Kilor, Guardian of the High Court, Mumbai, Nagpur Bench and Akola Judicial District, appealed to the lawyers and the parties to make the most of the e-service to ensure justice to the common man.  District-Court-Maharashtra

He was speaking at the inauguration of the e-service centre at the District and Sessions Court here today. Chief District and Sessions Judge Yanshivraj Khobragade, Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa member Adv. M.G. Mohta, Adv. Rajesh Jadhav, President of Advocates Association and District Computer System Coordinator and District Judge-3 Dilip Patange, Judicial Officers and Lawyers were present.

Speaking on the occasion, Guardian Justice Anil Kilor said that the work of justice is a social service and justice should be done till the last person. The e-service system will make court proceedings easier and more convenient. Lawyers and parties should take advantage of this system and save time and money. Awareness of e-service centres should be spread among the general public. Judges, lawyers, parties and court staff should work together to make the judicial process more transparent and expeditious. Justice Anil Kilor appealed to the lawyers along with the judge to make efforts to reduce the pendency of the case in the district.

The program was conducted by G.K. Khade and District Judge-3 Dilip Patange expressed their gratitude.
